ABOUT THE PIECE

The Last Flight of the Crow

CreatedJune 10, 2024
MediumGraphite on archival paper

The crow had wings, but the serpent had patience.

Above the earth there was freedom. Beneath it there was silence. Between them came a final struggle, a creature of the sky held by a creature of the ground.

An old story written again without words: the arrogance of flight, the wisdom of waiting, and the fragile line between victory and defeat.

The page remembers what nature has always known: even the strongest wings can be caught.
