Between the world of humans and the world of spirits, there are creatures that belong completely to neither.

This drawing imagines the Kitsune — a figure of transformation and mystery from Japanese folklore. Behind the gentle expression and elegant appearance lies a question: is she human wearing the image of a fox, or a fox discovering the shape of a human?

The fan hides part of her presence, revealing only enough to invite curiosity. Her silence becomes part of the story — a reminder that appearances can be deceiving, and that some beings are defined not by what they reveal, but by what they choose to keep hidden.

The Kitsune has remained a fascinating symbol because it carries two sides at once: wisdom and mischief, beauty and danger, familiarity and the unknown.
